18 December – Brisbane Broncos & Storm

The Broncos released their Away and Nines/Alternate jersey today. Asics who are the Broncos new supplier have listed the jersey as a Nines jersey. However it has a NRL badge on it and the Nines competition isn’t running in 2021 so I imagine it will be used as an alternate. Added the Melbourne Storm 2020 Premiers Jersey that was only a retail version and was never worn.

10 December – Cronulla Sharks

The Sharks released their 2021 home and away jerseys today. There are minimal changes to the design. Only the collar has changed. They have changed sponsor from Ace Durakote Roofing to Sharks at Kareela. 

9 December – Penrith Panthers

The Panthers released their home, away and alternate jerseys for the 2021 season today. There are smaller changes to the home. The away is now the pink jersey and the alternate is a 30th year anniversary throwback to the 1991 grand final win over Canberra.

8 December – Newcastle Knights

The Knights released their home and away jerseys for the 2021 season. They are no changes to the 2020 versions.

7 December – New Zealand Warriors

The Warriors released their home, away and indigenous jerseys today.

5 December – Dragons, Sharks, Roosters + Massive International Drop.

Updated the Dragons, Sharks & Roosters from season 2012 with in game pictures. Added a ton of International jerseys, mainly from Ireland. I found most of the jerseys from Ireland’s official website and their Facebook page.

A lot of these photos aren’t the greatest quality so if you do have any better ones, please get in contact with me. It’s hard to find good pictures of some of the smaller International teams.

4 December – Manly Sea Eagles

Manly released their 2021 home and away jerseys. The only thing that has changed is the collar. it used to be two colours, now it is just the one solid colour.

3 December – Gold Coast Titans, Dragons & Wales

Gold Coast Titans unveiled their 2021 Away jersey today. I updated the home too. They released a kids jersey which has a different sponsor due to gambling sponsors not being allowed on kids jerseys. I feel they will wear it in Round 1 against the Warriors as NZ don’t allow gambling on jerseys either.

I have a massive Ireland drop coming very soon. Either tomorrow or on the weekend. Stay tuned…

2 December – Wests Tigers

Wests Tigers have released their new home and away jerseys for the 2021 season. This is the first year with manufacturer Steeden.

24 November – Defunct clubs

Uploaded another 24 photos for some of the most recent defunct clubs. Images are hard to come by so there are a few different photos with subtle variations on the jerseys. If there are any inaccuracies, let me know.

23 November – Brisbane Broncos

The Broncos revealed their new 2021 home jersey today as well as naming their new apparel partner in Asics.

21 November – Cronulla Sharks Charity 

Cronulla Sharks released their 2021 Charity jersey. It is limited to only 350 retail jerseys with everyone who purchases one will get their name on the jersey.

19 November – Raiders & Storm

Updated the Canberra Raiders 2021 jersey range with better photos. Added an in game photo for the Storm’s 2016 Auckland Nines jersey which has sponsors.

18 November – Bulldogs

Updated the Canterbury Bulldogs new Home and away jerseys. Also added the 2020 Home, Away & Indigenous jerseys with the Laundry Hotels and Sydney Tools sponsors.

There were 2 women’s International games on the weekend. NZ v Samoa & Tonga v Niue. I’ve added pics from the games. They are not the best quality but they were the best I could find. I have updated a couple more teams on the women’s side too.

The Titans released their new 2021 Home kit today. With it being State of Origin at the moment, I thought I would add a few more to the Maroons & Blues pages. I added a ton of Captain’s Run and training jerseys for the maroons. I don’t usually add training jerseys, but I like to do it for rep teams.

The new releases are starting to come out now. It will be a busy few weeks I think. Today the Cowboys & Rabbitohs revealed their jerseys for the 2021 season. I know Gold Coast Titans will be out tomorrow as well so look out for that.

23 October – World Cups and World Sevens

A random assortment of jerseys from World Cups and World Sevens. A fair few International jerseys added.

I found an oddity in a South Africa v Papua New Guinea 2000 World Cup Match. It looks as though South Africa wore 2 different jerseys in the same game. I have found photos on Getty Images and it is from the same game, so I’m not sure if it was a couple of players or they changed at half time. I cannot find video footage, only pictures. Be sure to check out the pics to see what I am talking about. Very odd.

The Knights and Sharks released limited 2020 signed jerseys. These were never worn. Meant to be a collectors item. South Sydney also released their 2021 Members jerseys. They have both a home and away with members who pledged their membership in 2020 with their names on the jerseys. They will be worn in 2021.

7 October – Massive heritage drop.

A great heritage drop here with a ton of older jerseys. Most are in black and white

I have finally split the Sydney Roosters, Sydney City Roosters and Sydney Roosters and given them their own pages. I am not sure why I hadn’t done this before. I have also deleted a lot of jerseys from the 80’s & 90s from the Roosters, Magpies and Tigers as they were all remakes.

Another 35 jerseys added, however I did delete around 10 so 25 new ones.

5 October – 2008 World Cup & NZ Kiwis + Raiders 2021

Again I find one jersey and then go down a rabbit hole and have to find them all. All teams have been updated now with exception of PNG who I already had. I have also added a new link to the top of the page with the new 2021 jerseys. Make sure to keep checking back as it will be updated with all the new jerseys as they get released.

5 September – Broncos, Manly & Multiple updates

Brisbane wore their charity jersey in Round 17. It is the Indigenous jersey but with Deadly Choices as the main sponsor after Kia gifted them the spot. Another 15 jerseys to the site.

28 August – Multi team update

Just a couple more jerseys. I added 2 more jerseys to the Rabbitohs 2005 Home. They wore 2 different sponsors. Two with Cinderella Man, where one was black background and the other white.

21 August – Multi team update

A few days ago the Broncos released the first ever NRL ‘City’ jersey. Believed to be inspired by the NBA’s city jersey concept. Updated random jerseys from years in between 2001-2010.

7 August – Cowboys, Raiders & Bulldogs

The Cowboys released two more jerseys for the 2020 season. Canberra also released their new charity jersey, this time supporting the Black Dog Institute. The Titans, Knights, Rabbitohs, Bulldogs, Storm, Panthers all released their Indigenous jerseys for the 2020 season.

8 July – Sharks Kokoda & Tigers update

Cronulla have just released their 2020 Kokoda jersey. I also have updated the 2020 Indigenous jersey for the Wests Tigers with a better picture.

5 July – Raiders, Tigers & Netherlands

The Wests Tigers released their new Indigenous jersey and it is beautiful. I have also added the Canberra Raiders 2020 Foundation jersey. It was announced all the way back in August 2019, but I had forgotten about it until one of my followers reminded me about it.

28 June – Sharks & Knights

Cronulla released their 2020 Indigenous design, made by Dynasty Sport and it’s lovely. Newcastle wore their Mining jersey against the Cowboys. 

17 June – QLD Maroons & International updates

22 more jerseys added to the men’s section. One new training jersey for the QLD Maroons. I added pages for Portugal and Ecuador as well as updated some more jerseys for international sides. If anyone knows what year the Germany jersey is from please contact me as I can’t find any info on it. In the women’s section I added a page for Argentina and one jersey.

I have pretty much hit the end of all the jerseys I had saved up over the years for the current NRL teams. I will be always be adding more as for most teams I am nowhere near done. In the near future though you can expect some more defunct teams and a lot of rep and International jerseys as that’s all I have in my stash at the moment. The Melbourne Storm released their 2020 Anzac jersey, with a without front sponsor RedZed. I have included both. Three more jerseys were added to the storm page. 23 April – Sydney Roosters

The Roosters just released their 2020 Anzac Day jersey. It is nearly the same design as their 2015 Alternate. However the new jersey has a camouflage background, is a darker red and a different collar. It is based on the 1908 foundation jersey. 11 jerseys uploaded today.

19 April – MASSIVE Wests Tigers drop!

Wow. So I think I have updated every Wests Tigers jersey in their history. I couldn’t have done it without finding a page on Instagram which has posted nearly every Wests Tigers jersey in their history. I used nearly all of their jerseys they uploaded from 2000-2014 with a couple of exceptions. An amazing collection. It’s the dream of any jersey collector to have every one of your favourite team’s jersey in their history and this fan has done it… nearly. I think they still need a couple, so if you head over to the page and have one that they are missing I’m sure they would be very appreciative.

18 April – Parramatta Eels & Brisbane Broncos

Parramatta just released their new 2020 Anzac jersey, however i’m not sure if it will be seen this season, so it might get moved to next season. Updated a couple from 2013 too. I added two different pictures for the away jersey. The design isn’t different but they played with different shorts. Blue for home and white away. I just thought it was interesting.

12 April – South Sydney, Ireland, Canada Men & Women

With it being Easter, why not be predictable and post some South Sydney Rabbitohs jerseys ; ) Ireland Wolfhounds 2003 St. Patrick’s Day jersey was also added.

Now onto the Canada Wolverines page. As with all emerging nations, it’s really hard to find actual photos of the jerseys and when you do, it’s hard to tell what games/years they were worn. I’ve added 22 jerseys to the men’s page and 6 to the women’s, which hopefully are all right. I’ve also added some U17’s & U19’s which I don’t normally do, but I liked their jerseys so I put them in.

In trying to find jerseys for Canada I stumbled upon a couple more jerseys that aren’t specifically for the national side. The CanAm Grizzlies and East Canada Wolverines. The CanAm Grizzlies was a joint venture in 2016 between the Canadian national team and the USA national side to help pick players for the 2017 World Cup. It’s the only instance that I’ve found the team being played.

I’ve also added in the Eastern and Western Canada sides jersey for the 2020 season. I believe they are played under the Ontario RL banner. It’s a little confusing. They played a match in January. I believe this will be a yearly match and will serve as selection for the national side.

The Canadian national side was named the Cougars between 1987-2000. I found a 1995 Home jersey. I also found 2 other jerseys but I’m not sure what years they are from. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Whew. I didn’t think I’d go down a Canadian rabbit hole like that. I only intended to put up a couple and about 5 hours later, I’ve uploaded 28. Wow. I need to rest now. 🙂

Seven new Sharks jerseys today. They just released their new 2020 heritage jersey. It features every Sharks players name on it. The jersey is also a long sleeve version so I’m not sure if it will actually be used in a game or it’s just for retail purposes.

Added some new jerseys to the Sydney Roosters page. While I gave all the different Gold Coast clubs their own pages, I’ve decided to keep the Sydney Roosters/Eastern Suburbs/Sydney City as one page. Due to the fact they were the same club, just a different name, while the Gold Coast teams were different clubs and identities. They were all just based on the Gold Coast.

1 February – International adds

Went on a wild goose chase looking for some images of the Rest of the World jerseys from 1997 and 1988. Found great images from the 1988 games, but I had to screenshot the jerseys from YouTube for the 1997 jerseys. If anyone has any better quality photos of the 97 match between the Rest of the World vs Australia, played at Suncorp, please send them through to me.

Australia Kangaroos got some love today. 1992 Home, 1993 Home, 1995 World Cup, 1996 Home, 1997 Home (Super League) and 2002 Home. I added the 1951 Home, 2003 World Sevens and 2013 World Cup Away for France. I found the Jamaica 2009 Nines jersey. Updated the 2017 Pacific Test for the Cook Islands. Added a 2013 Nines Jersey and updated the 2008 World Cup jersey for Papua New Guinea. Found a Great Britain photo from 1988 from the game where they played the Rest of the World as well as the 2007 Home. England 2019 Nines.

I went down a rabbit hole trying to find a specific Philippines Tamaraws jersey that I came across. Could not find what year it is. (I believe it is in between 2012-2016 as that’s when they had Philippines Airlines as a sponsor) I did find a load of others though. 2012 Home, Away, Asian Cup and Nines. 2013 Home, Nines, Nines Alt and a second Nines Alternate that was never worn that I know of. 2014 Away, 2015 Away and the 2017 Home.

Added the newly formed Vietnam’s 2020 Nines jersey. Added an Alternate Home jersey for Norway 2019. Nearly identical jersey except one has a blue V line and the other has a white V line. Found a 2013 Asian Cup Thailand Stars jersey. Added Tonga’s 2019 World Nines and another 2019 home jersey, this time with another sponsor and a new name on the badge. After the Tongan board fell out mid 2019, they are at the present time, named Tonga Invitational.

In the women’s section I added two new countries. The newly formed Philippines Sampaguitas 2020 Jersey. I also added the Australia Jillaroos page. I added the first ever jersey for them which was in 1995. The 2019 Home, Nines and a Training jersey have been updated.

31 January – Cowboys drop

I’ve just added/updated 14 North Queensland Cowboys jerseys. I took nearly all of the jerseys from www.instagram.com/nqcowboys_jerseys_vault An avid Cowboys collector. Make sure to check out his page if you’re a Cowboys fan.

29 January – Sea Eagles, Maroons

The Manly Sea Eagles dropped their 2020 Nines kit. Queensland Maroons unveiled their home jersey for the 2020 State of Origin series and it is beautiful. Minimal design, nice white collar, revamped kangaroo logo. Perfect.

I don’t know why I’m on a Manly binge at the moment, but I’ve added a couple of more jerseys. The 1992 home, 1994 home, 1998 home and the 1999 home. The 92′ and 94′ jerseys are just iconic. 

28 January – Sea Eagles, Roosters and Raiders

I stumbled upon some Manly jerseys today on Gumtree and eBay. I can’t remember ever seeing any retail jerseys for sale for Brett’s Stewarts 2012-2013 Charity jerseys for Diabetes. If I ever see one, I’m going to grab it. I like the 2013 version better with the big snake (Brett Stewart’s nickname) on the front.

Anyway, here’s what I added today. Manly Sea Eagles 2006 Away, 2008 Away, 2011 Away, 2012 Indigenous, 2012 Charity (for Diabetes), 2013 Charity (for Diabetes) and updated the 2013 Indigenous. Also added a 2006 Sydney Roosters Heritage and a 1992 Canberra Raiders Away.

26 January – Updates to the 2020 season.

I have updated all of the new jerseys for the new season. Please proceed to the Clubs section to select a team to view their new jerseys.

Added a couple of older South Sydney Rabbitohs jerseys that I found on Reddit, which is a great find. I added the 1945-1946 home, the 1959-1964 home and a 1980 jersey that was made for the mid week Panasonic Cup but never worn. Here’s the link to the article if you are interested.

19 January 2020 – Welcome to the new website!

Welcome to the new official Rugby League jerseys website! Why is there a new site? Basically because I over complicated the old website. I was trying to emulate the Gridion Uniform Database and catalog every game in history! (Crazy I know)

After 4 years of trying, I realised I couldn’t do it. Especially with my limited website building skills, I knew I could never complete it. So I’ve decided to start with a clean slate and just focus on the jerseys. Display them with the year they were worn and the manufacturer. I’ve thought about detailing a jersey history of each team, but that will take time. I might add a ‘interesting facts’ section too, about some of the jerseys too.

I will instead do a weekly jersey match-up post instead of having a dedicated section to save me time so I can spend more time on uploading pictures. This was what took up most of my time, maintaining the weekly match-ups.

If I was to have a guess, off all the jerseys i have up on the site, i’m probably only 20% done, so there are many more jerseys to go. As this site goes live, I have over 100 jerseys to upload to the site, and that’s just from my daily travels.
